It is not more than a couple of decades that human life started
fighting and being victimized by the cancer more frequently and many of
us find our beloved ones getting defeated by the monstrous disease. If I
say that the very word cancer brings fear of unseen along with, it may
prove true as you will find cancer patients around; most of whom do
nothing but simply to wait for the predator of their death that may
knock at the moment or the other and grab their life away. On the other
hand you must have heard about those who have been fighting against
their disease for the last several years with a brave heart without
being going in self pity; the only difference between the two mentioned
cases is of the strength of will power.
Cancer patients can live a normal and successful life like other people if they incur a strong desire to slap the disease back. Anyhow we may say a lot about to defeat the disease, but the unchangeable fact is that it is really a matter of great pain and misery when you find your beloved ones slipping their lives away for cancer. The only thing that we can do is to educate ourselves about the symptoms of the disease so that the treatment may not get delayed and on the other hand to have a distance of arm’s length from all those causes and events which evidently can become a source of cancer.
Medical science has subdivided cancer in many types and categories which is quite impossible to capsulate in a single article so here I’ll touch only blood cancer.
Blood cancer is a generalized term which is subdivided in three types; leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myelomas.
Symptoms of Blood Cancer:
Very common symptoms of blood cancer are below, appearing of any of which can be indicative that blood cancer germs are getting place in your body. These symptoms are listed below:
The diagnose of all three types of blood cancer involves a blood test and a test of bone marrow; the result of which reveals the intensity, type and the internal condition of blood cells. When it comes to the treatment of leukemia, it depends upon three facts: what is the medical history of the patient? What is the age group of the individual suffering with the disease? And in which health condition the patient is present?
What is the treatment of Leukemia?
Many patients of leukemia are treated with chemotherapy while some are also diagnosed with radioactive therapy while in few cases bone marrow transplantation is made. The last is in the severe condition where none of other two works.
Prevention:
Hitherto, there is no prevention is known for leukemia.
Risk Factors:
There is no wonder if your doctor is unable to tell you why one gets blood cancer and the other doesn’t. Medical Science has failed in determining the exact reason of cancer. This is thrown in the coat of nature that nature takes the decision however; by the research there are few discovered risk factors the happening or addiction of which increases the chances for a person to get cancer.
Having exposure to one or more risk factors does not mean that this will surely bring leukemia. Many people are there who are at frequent exposure with these risk factors but do not get leukemia.
